WHAT IS RAPTURE?

An English term translated from the Latin word meaning to be snatched away.

The word “RAPTURE” is not found in the English Bible. It’s taken from the Latin word rapere, which is used in the Latin Vulgate (the entire Bible translated in Latin from Hebrew version) to the translated Greek word (harpazo) pronounced har-pad’-zo (caught up) in referring to 1 Thess. 4:17.

When Christians speak of “rapture,” they are referring to being carried away to heaven. They believe in the snatching away of believers in Christ at some point before, during or at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Scripture: 1 Thess 4:16-17 (caught up); 1 Cor 15:51 (we shall be changed); John 14 (Let not your heart be troubled) and Rev. 3:10 (before tribulation period).

WHAT RAPTURE READY MINISTRIES IS ALL ABOUT!

Rapture Ready Ministries is a teaching ministry that will use many vehicles to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. RRM is designed to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its entirety from Genesis to Revelation. RRM is a non-denominational/cross-cultural body of believers that acknowledges Jesus as Lord, and who are prepared for service in the vineyard.

OUR MISSION is to prepare souls for the Second Coming of Christ and eternal life. OUR MOTTO for daily living is “I’m Living To Live Again!”

PURPOSE OF RAPTURE READY MINISTRIES

In 2002, while recovering from breast cancer, God gave Elder Sampson the single word, “Rapture." As she began to study the word, she asked God what was she suppose to do with the word. Months went by before she received more clarification. As she was studying one day, God gave her the word, “Ready.” Therefore, she began to put the two words together and study the meaning of the phrase, Rapture Ready. As she repeatedly studied the phrase over the next two-years, God spoke to her spirit saying that there’s a generation of people not being prepared to meet me. They are frightened and perplexed because there are not enough teachings that place emphasis on living a holy and righteous lifestyle (1 Pet 1:16). People desperately need this type of ministry so they will reap Kingdom benefits here on earth and in heaven. 2 Pet 3:14 states, “Jesus will return for His Church that is without spot or blemish”, but this generation lacks the urgency to get ready.

In 2004, God again spoke to Elder Sampson’s spirit letting her know that He had prepared her for a time such as this. She had been given a special mission to prepare souls for the Second Coming. Her assignment was to work hard preparing souls with the true knowledge of what has been written in the Bible. She was to go forth with The Word and the Holy Spirit would complete the process.

Through Rapture Ready Ministries, people will be loved for who they are, lives will be changed and complete, they will be set free and delivered. Families will be restored and no longer will Satan have full rein.

The Word of God will be plainly taught and openly displayed so that, without any excuses, souls will be ready to meet Jesus either through death or The Rapture.

OUR VISION is that the ministry will be an instrument in the body of Christ to do the Great Commission, commanded by Jesus (Mk 16:15-18 and Matt 28:19-20).
